Just the other morning, Lincoln fell off of the bunkbeds and bonked his head. When we assessed the damage and determined that he would fare better than Humpty Dumpty, I asked him if he wanted to call his dad to tell him about his fall. He said, "No. Papa Lewis." When Kobe heard Lincoln asked to call Papa Lewis, Kobe said "Papa Lewis scraped off all his hair."
Today Kobe and Lincoln had a nice surprise -- a visit from Papa Lewis, Kathy & Marilyn (Kathy's mom). Kathy's daughter Ashley was taking the SAT just down the street @ LaSalle, so they came over after they dropped her off. We made some cinnamon rolls and cheesy eggs (Lincoln's food of choice) and oranges and had a nice breakfast together--then the boys took Papa Lewis into their treehouse. It was a great morning together. (Sorry--I forgot to take a picture to post)

An excerpt from the conversation between me and the boys this morning....
Lincoln comes to me this morning and explains that he and Kobe had been talking amongst themselves, doing a little brainstorming. Surprised, I ask what in particular they were brainstorming about. Lincoln explains "Kobe and I are quite satisfied with the online popularity we have received, and were coming up with ways that we could use our celebrity status to transition into other arenas." My mouth is hanging open, did he just say 'celebrity status.' Oh boy. He continues "We think our best bet is a music career." I need an aspirin.
