I usually save the funny two-year-old phrases for my own enjoyment, and just forget to post them. Last night Kobe had me laughing so hard when he gave me a glance into his developing world. Just made me imagine figuring out everything for the first time. Here is the dialogue...
'we were talking about eyes at bed time"
K: "Kobe's eyes green"
S: "Yep"
K: "Kobe touch Kobe's eyes"
S: "Our eyes are easy to hurt, that is why we have eyelids to protect them"
(Kobe closes his eyes, and draws and interesting look on his face. He puts his finger on the outside of his eyelid)
K: "Kobe's eyes moving in there"
(Kobe removes his finger and points to his temple)
K: "Batteries in there"

Just to clarify...I really didn't hit a blind man. The police really called because someone turned in our license plate number, saying that we were the ones involved in the accident with the blind man. But it really wasn't us. And luckily I have an alibi--I was at the "Thanks for letting me come to visit" interview at the time of the alleged accident!!!
