Tomorrow is going to be a good day! Yeah I know its tax day. But for the first year in several they sent me a check. Usually tomorrow speaks of dragging myself to the post office with a big fat check, disgruntled and downtrodden.
Did I say tomorrow is going to be a good day...
The weather is going to be delightful. The boys will be playing outside. A Free Burrito. My new best friend is coming over.
Tomorrow is like the nice weather version of Christmas.

Opening Day... Today was it. The big hoopla... The parade... The city filled with red... And another loss. The blow was soft since it was dealt by the Cubbies.
Kobe attended his first opening day and Lincoln his first baseball game ever. Lincoln missed about half the game sleeping but enjoyed the parts he was awake. Kobe missed about half the game at the concession stand. Our seats were terrible but in left field, so Kobe was able to see the boats floating down the river.
Kobe's favorite part: The American flags they gave out.
Lincoln's favorite part: Walking to and from the ballpark downtown.

Im in Atlanta and cannot sleep... primarily because I miss home. I miss Wendy. I miss my boys. Im not really one to be home sick, really don't ever know if I have before. But for some reason this week I am. All day long I stare into the my notebook... not for notes, or insight, but because that is where my stash of pictures resides. Tonight I just couldn't take it anymore. So I stopped staring at the ceiling, got out of bed and headed out to the mean streets of Atlanta and walked to Kinkos. Actually, I am staying in a fancy business district that probably can only translate 'mean' into being fired by Donald Trump. I diverge....
Wendy, Kobe, Lincoln... I miss you and love you very much!
