Kobe's check up was Wed. His official stats are 23 1/2 lbs. 31 1/2 inches tall. 25 precentile in height and weight, 90 percentile in head circumfrance.

Lincoln had his one month check up. He is doing great! He is about 55 precentile in height, weight and head circumfrance. His official results for those of you keeping score at home (Mom), 10lbs 14oz 221/2 inches. Kobe is learning to be more gentle with him. Kobe is in no way out to get Lincoln, its just he can't contain his love for him. He does the sweetest things for Lincoln. When Lincoln is crying in the car, Kobe looks at him with this concerned look and holds his hand. Kobe was playing with his two favorite motorcycles yesterday. He had them in his sweaty little palms for an hour probably. Lincoln started to cry and he walked over and put the motorcycles in Lincoln's seat. Wendy thanked him for caring for his brother and took the motorcycles out. Kobe insisted that they stay in with Lincoln. Then other times he "high fives" Lincoln's face? Speaking of Lincoln's face... His baby acne has clear up almost completely. He looks quite handsome now. He is trying to raise his cuteness levels up to compete with that Alyssa, a battle Kobe never had to fight. Just ask any cousin close in age fighting for grandparent attention. Take me for instance. I could never get a moment of my Grandma and Grandpa Eichenberger's attention. It was always Amy Beth this or Rachel Marie that. Im still recovering. Yeah right! Even if my grandparents HAD a partisin bone in their body, I'm sure they would have found me to be their favorite! I diverge.

Today Kobe decided to practice his diaper drop on Lincoln:( Luckily it was an accident (for kobe) and Lincoln is OK (for all of us). Note to Kobe: whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, so they say. Make friends now because you never know when Lincoln will start remebering these "accidents."

Well, well. Its time for an update on Lincoln, now that he is going to get all kinds of traffic after being linked by the hottest blog on the net Aquadoodiloop. Not Syndicating since 1999.
This weekend Pat and Julia came to visit Lincoln for the first time. Although the weekend was more focused on us trying to steal their time away from Lincoln. Pat took a liking to Lincoln and was often times found sitting in the foyer reading with him.
Lincoln is still very healthy and progressing into childhood. He is supporting his head more each day and begining to focus his eyes. Kobe is learning to be more gentle with him as well. We are now safely predicting Lincoln's first birthday. The amazing story is how well Wendy is recovering! It seems like after 3 weeks she is at a place she was still longing for 6 weeks after Kobe was born. She has been taking the boys for walks and (shhhhh) picking up Kobe every now and then!
I really think the more Lincoln begins to make faces I continue to see more and more of Kobe in his reactions. And yes, he still has red hair.
