Add Empathy to Kobe's good traits...
After discovering that he left his beloved Blue Bear and Blue Blanket on Sheila's porch this evening...and after losing his battle to convince me to turn the car around and drive all the way back to Finneytown to retrieve them after having been gone for 24 hours straight...Lincoln burst into tears, truly heartbroken!
Kobe leaned over to his brother and said in a low, gentle voice..."That happened to me once."

There's so much to blog about....my grandfather's funeral in January; the boys' trip to Chicago to see the Cubs; Stephen's trip to China(the boys miss him TERRIBLY!); Kobe's musical; Lincoln's final soccer game; the end of school. So we'll have a marathon of postings soon, I promise. But I wanted to get this one down just so I don't forget it.
Lincoln and I were vegging in front of the TV earlier, and a commercial came on. I said "Look Lincoln. That's the palace in London, England!"
...to which he matter-of-factly replied, "Oh, you mean Buckingham Palace."

Kobe's first baseball game was last Friday. As you can see for yourself he looked the part! He played 3rd base for most of the game and got a strong hit each time he was up to bat!

Lincoln was great in his first soccer game! He scored 5 goals just like his jersey number! Oh, and #5 looked pretty good too!
